As\u00ed, los potenciales candidatos a cursar el Programa ser\u00edan Licenciados o Graduados en Biotecnolog\u00eda, Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda de los Alimentos, Ciencias Medioambientales, Farmacia, Ingenier\u00eda de Materiales, Fisioterapia, Medicina, Ingenier\u00eda Inform\u00e1tica e Ingenier\u00eda Agr\u00f3noma (todas ellas titulaciones ofertadas por la Universidad Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez de Elche y en alg\u00fan caso tambi\u00e9n por Universidades geogr\u00e1ficamente muy cercanas como Alicante y Murcia), adem\u00e1s de Licenciados o Graduados en Biolog\u00eda, Bioqu\u00edmica, F\u00edsica, Qu\u00edmica e Ingenier\u00eda Qu\u00edmica (todas ellas impartidas tambi\u00e9n en las citadas Universidades vecinas).<\/p>\n<p class=\"marginTopBR\" data-txt2htmlacc=\"true\">El Instituto de Bioingenier\u00eda, centro al que se adscribe el Programa de Doctorado en Bioingenier\u00eda, participa en la impartici\u00f3n del M\u00e1ster Universitario en Biotecnolog\u00eda y Bioingenier\u00eda, donde el alumno recibe formaci\u00f3n que le permite adquirir competencias transversales y espec\u00edficas en Bioingenier\u00eda a trav\u00e9s de una formaci\u00f3n avanzada te\u00f3rico-pr\u00e1ctica.<\/p>\n<p class=\"marginTopBR\" data-txt2htmlacc=\"true\">La Bioingenier\u00eda se desarrolla en un amplio marco multidisciplinar de \u00e1reas cient\u00edficas y tecnol\u00f3gicas aparentemente inconexas, pero que gracias a una investigaci\u00f3n integradora y coordinada logran complementarse para desarrollar tecnolog\u00edas de base, nuevos productos y nuevas aplicaciones. La presente propuesta de Programa de Doctorado en Bioingenier\u00eda nace con la misma filosof\u00eda que el Instituto de Bioingenier\u00eda, que es b\u00e1sicamente desarrollar competitivamente aquellos campos en los que est\u00e1n involucrados sus investigadores (sin excluir desde luego la posibilidad de potenciar otras \u00e1reas dentro de la Bioingenier\u00eda) entre los que se incluye: terapia g\u00e9nica, desarrollo vegetal, biotecnolog\u00eda de plantas, biomateriales, pr\u00f3tesis y \u00f3rganos artificiales, instrumentaci\u00f3n biom\u00e9dica, toxicolog\u00eda y seguridad qu\u00edmica, visi\u00f3n artificial, bancos de c\u00e9lulas, ensayos cl\u00ednicos y monitorizaci\u00f3n de f\u00e1rmacos. Es decir, que el Programa de Doctorado formar\u00e1 investigadores en campos de gran inter\u00e9s para la sociedad ya que de todos ellos cabe esperar grandes progresos en riqueza, calidad de vida y bienestar.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row padding_mobile=&#8221;off&#8221; Thus, potential candidates for the program would be graduates in Biotechnology, Food Science and Technology, Environmental Sciences, Pharmacy, Materials Engineering, Physiotherapy, Medicine, Computer Engineering and Agricultural Engineering (all degrees offered by the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University of Elche and in some cases also by universities geographically very close as Alicante and Murcia), as well as graduates in Biology, Biochemistry, Physics, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (all of them also taught in the above mentioned neighboring universities).<\/p>\n<p class=\"marginTopBR\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-txt2htmlacc=\"true\">The Institute of Bioengineering, the center to which the Doctoral Program in Bioengineering is attached, participates in the teaching of the Master&#8217;s Degree in Biotechnology and Bioengineering, where students receive training that allows them to acquire transversal and specific competencies in Bioengineering through advanced theoretical and practical training.<\/p>\n<p class=\"marginTopBR\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-txt2htmlacc=\"true\">Bioengineering is developed in a broad multidisciplinary framework of scientific and technological areas apparently unconnected, but which, thanks to an integrated and coordinated research, manage to complement each other to develop basic technologies, new products and new applications. The present proposal for a Doctoral Program in Bioengineering is born with the same philosophy as the Institute of Bioengineering, which is basically to develop competitively those fields in which its researchers are involved (without excluding the possibility of promoting other areas within Bioengineering) including: gene therapy, plant development, plant biotechnology, biomaterials, prostheses and artificial organs, biomedical instrumentation, toxicology and chemical safety, artificial vision, cell banks, clinical trials and drug monitoring.
