Los contaminantes ambientales que persisten en el medioambiente, bien por su continua emisi\u00f3n o por su lenta biodegradaci\u00f3n, se distribuyen ubicuamente en forma de mezclas complejas, se acumulan en los organismos vivos y causan toxicidad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">La b\u00fasqueda de indicadores tempranos es \u00fatil para detectar el desarrollo de estados patol\u00f3gicos que constituyen graves problemas de salud p\u00fablica, tales como obesidad, diabetes, enfermedades cardiovasculares, s\u00edndrome metab\u00f3lico, alteraciones del sistema inmunol\u00f3gico, c\u00e1ncer, as\u00ed como trastornos reproductivos y del desarrollo derivadas de la exposici\u00f3n a sustancias qu\u00edmicas.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong>L\u00ednea 2:\u00a0Evaluaci\u00f3n de biomarcadores moleculares en pacientes tratados con psicof\u00e1rmacos que predisponen al s\u00edndrome metab\u00f3lico<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>La presencia de m\u00faltiples factores que intervienen en la patogenia, as\u00ed como predisposici\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica y h\u00e1bitos de vida, dificultan el esclarecimiento de mecanismos que determinan el curso de alteraciones endocrinas como el s\u00edndrome metab\u00f3lico en poblaci\u00f3n general.<br \/>\nPor ello, el estudio en pacientes bajo control m\u00e9dico que reciben un tratamiento que predispone, como efecto secundario, al desarrollo del s\u00edndrome metab\u00f3lico, permite obtener informaci\u00f3n acerca de biomarcadores ligados a mecanismos de acci\u00f3n, tales como elementos clave del sistema retinoide, y otros ligados a factores de susceptibilidad individual, como la paraoxonasa. Environmental pollutants that persist in the environment, either by continuous emission or by slow biodegradation, are ubiquitously distributed in the form of complex mixtures, accumulate in living organisms and cause toxicity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The search for early indicators is useful for detecting the development of pathological states that constitute serious public health problems, such as obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, metabolic syndrome, immune system alterations, cancer, as well as reproductive and developmental disorders derived from exposure to chemical substances.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Line 2: Evaluation of molecular biomarkers in patients treated with psychotropic drugs predisposing to metabolic syndrome<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The presence of multiple factors involved in the pathogenesis, as well as genetic predisposition and lifestyle habits, make it difficult to clarify the mechanisms that determine the course of endocrine disorders such as metabolic syndrome in the general population.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Therefore, the study in patients under medical control who receive a treatment that predisposes, as a side effect, to the development of metabolic syndrome, allows us to obtain information about biomarkers linked to mechanisms of action, such as key elements of the retinoid system, and others linked to individual susceptibility factors, such as paraoxonase.
