Para ello, utilizamos t\u00e9cnicas tanto biol\u00f3gicas como biof\u00edsicas para conocer las diferentes respuestas fisiol\u00f3gicas, endocrinas, bioqu\u00edmicas, morfol\u00f3gicas y gen\u00e9ticas. Los comportamientos y las respuestas se analizan para evaluar cuantitativamente la capacidad de adaptaci\u00f3n de cada especie a las diferentes anomal\u00edas ambientales vinculadas al cambio clim\u00e1tico. Respuestas fisiol\u00f3gicas y gen\u00e9ticas del picudo rojo (Rhynchophorus ferrugineus) a las anomal\u00edas t\u00e9rmicas<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>El picudo rojo de las palmeras (RPW), Rhynchophorus ferrugineus, est\u00e1 considerado como una de las plagas m\u00e1s destructivas de las palmeras en las zonas c\u00e1lidas de todo el mundo. Es originario del sudeste asi\u00e1tico y de Ocean\u00eda. Sin embargo, debido al movimiento de palmeras vivas infestadas en las \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas, la RPW se ha expandido ampliamente a otras regiones de Asia, la cuenca mediterr\u00e1nea, Oriente Medio, el Caribe y California.<br \/>\nEstudiando las diferentes respuestas morfol\u00f3gicas, fisiol\u00f3gicas y gen\u00e9ticas podremos entender c\u00f3mo las anomal\u00edas t\u00e9rmicas afectan a la aptitud del RPW, lo que es relevante para la gesti\u00f3n de la plaga, pero tambi\u00e9n para profundizar en el conocimiento de la capacidad de adaptaci\u00f3n de los insectos plaga.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bioingenieria.umh.es\/files\/2021\/12\/zoo-2-e1620647527797.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-784\" src=\"http:\/\/bioingenieria.umh.es\/files\/2021\/12\/zoo-2-e1620647527797.jpg\" alt=\"zoo 2\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/bioingenieria.umh.es\/files\/2021\/12\/zoo-3-e1620647551496.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-783\" src=\"http:\/\/bioingenieria.umh.es\/files\/2021\/12\/zoo-3-e1620647551496.jpg\" alt=\"zoo 3\" width=\"401\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em><strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Larva de picudo rojo dentro del sistema de tomograf\u00eda computarizada de rayos X<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>L\u00ednea 2: Efectos del cambio clim\u00e1tico en los insectos no invasores. An\u00e1lisis cuantitativo de las diferentes respuestas fisiol\u00f3gicas para mitigar los impactos negativos<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>El cambio clim\u00e1tico puede reducir la viabilidad de las especies y provocar una p\u00e9rdida de biodiversidad. Sin embargo, las p\u00e9rdidas de aptitud pueden mitigarse si las poblaciones responden de forma adaptativa.<br \/>\nCuantificar las respuestas adaptativas, o demostrar su ausencia, es importante en un contexto de conservaci\u00f3n de la biodiversidad para predecir la abundancia de las especies. In this way, we use both biological and biophysical techniques to understand the different physiological, endocrine, biochemical, morphological and genetic responses. Behaviors and responses are analyzed to quantitatively evaluate the adaptive capacity of each species to the different environmental anomalies linked to climate change. Physiological and genetic responses of the Red Palm Weevil (Rhynchophorus ferrugineus) to thermal anomalies<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The red palm weevil (RPW), Rhynchophorus ferrugineus, is considered to be one of the most destructive palm pests in warm areas worldwide. It is native to Southeast Asia and Oceania. Fitness losses can be mitigated, however, if populations respond adaptively.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Quantifying adaptive responses, or demonstrating their absence, is important in a biodiversity conservation context for predicting species\u2019 abundances.
