The seminar will also be transmitted online for remote connection.<\/p>\n
This seminar explores how the UNAD Network can address the growing challenge of addictions from an intergenerational perspective, integrating technological innovation and gender-sensitive approaches. The meeting will break down the main findings of the project \u201cDiagnosis and design of the UNAD Network’s care resources\u201d, which identified significant barriers in access to specialized treatment and the lack of programs adapted for the elderly.<\/p>\n
Addictions, exacerbated by pre-existing health problems, social isolation and psychotropic drug abuse, especially in older women, require innovative strategies. This seminar presents disruptive proposals, such as hackathons, innovation circles and the use of artificial intelligence, to develop customized and accessible solutions, such as intelligent chatbots or inclusive digital platforms.<\/p>\n
In addition, it emphasizes the need to adopt comprehensive approaches that address physical, psychological and social dimensions, with a gender perspective that addresses the specific barriers faced by older men and women.<\/p>\n
In an interdisciplinary setting, this seminar invites not only to reflect on the challenges, but also to actively participate in the construction of a more effective and inclusive care, at the intersection of health, technology and human rights.<\/p>\n
