On October 18th, Prof. Dr. Eduardo Fernández, Director of the Biomedical Neuroengineering Research Group and Director of the Institute of Bioengineering at the Miguel Hernández University (UMH), will participate in the 1st International Symposium on Challenges and Advances in Neuroscience, held at the Faculty of Health Sciences of Elche (CEU UCH).

At this event, which will take place in the Aula Magna of the Sede Reyes Católicos in Elche, Fernández will present his latest research on visual neuroprosthetics, providing an innovative perspective on how technology can transform the lives of people with sensory disabilities.

The symposium will bring together prominent international and national experts to discuss the mysteries of the brain and conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease and schizophrenia. Eduardo Fernández, a pioneer at the interface between engineering and neuroscience, will share the most recent advances in applied neurotechnology, highlighting how his research is breaking new ground in visual rehabilitation through cutting-edge devices.

Without a doubt, his participation will be one of the key presentations at this highly significant scientific event.
