Eduardo Fernández will participate at the ICAR Stand at the Longevity World Forum in Alicante

Tomorrow, October 18, the Director of the Institute of Bioengineering, Eduardo Fernández, will take part in the Longevity World Forum in Alicante, through the International Center for Aging Research (ICAR), supported by the Generalitat Valenciana. The event, held on October 17 and 18, provides an opportunity for Prof. Dr. Fernández to present the results of his project, funded by ICAR in 2023, alongside 36 other selected projects, with a total of one million euros in funding. These projects cover multiple disciplines, such as basic research, nutrition, psychology, sports, and more.

Additionally, Drs. María Blasco and Ana María Cuervo, members of ICAR’s Scientific Committee and internationally recognized experts in the field of aging, will participate as speakers at the event. Blasco, a molecular biologist and Director of the CNIO, is an expert in telomeres and telomerase, while Cuervo, a professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, specializes in cellular processes related to aging.
