The UMH organizes a symposium on the Elche campus in honor of Fred Wudl, the next Doctor Honoris Causa of the University

The Bioengineering Institute of the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) of Elche has organized the symposium ‘Fullerenes and Friends’, which will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, January 25, at 3:00 p.m., in the Institute’s Assembly Hall, located in the Vinalopó building on the Elche campus. The activity is organized in honor of the chemist Fred Wudl, who will be invested as Doctor Honoris Causa by the UMH on January 26, during the celebration of the Saint Thomas Aquinas festival.

During the session, researchers who have developed their careers in the field of molecular and polymeric materials will take part; organic conductors and chemistry of fullerenes and 2D materials, areas in which the scientific contribution of Professor Wudl has been decisive.
